Workshops for Professionals and Advanced Training

Ohio State University Extension within the School of Environment & Natural Resources strives to meet the continuing educational needs of our natural resource professionals. In order to do this a variety of workshops and seminars are organized throughout the year.  For professional development these sessions will offer continuing education credits where appropriate.  Check back frequently for up to date event details.

    This annual conference brings together natural resource professionals and land managers from across the state. It provides an opportunity to learn about current issues affecting natural resources and practical approaches for addressing them. The conference features three concurrent sessions, with presentations organized around three core topic areas: woodlands (trees), water (lakes, streams, and ponds), and wildlife. Conference Agenda

    Designed for woodland landowners, this program offers forestry- and wildlife-focused educational opportunities to help you get the most from your property. This one-day workshop brings together forestry and wildlife experts from Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio to address common questions and management challenges faced by landowners. This year’s workshop will be held at the Ohio State University Extension Butler County Office in Hamilton, Ohio. Speakers from all three states will deliver information-packed sessions tailored to the interests and needs of woodland owners.
