Northwest Ohio Landowners Conference: Natural Resources at Home

Join us for a day filled with presentations and coversations about a variety of natural resource based topics. Everything from woodlands and wildlife to ponds and pollinators are on the agenda. If you are a landowner this conference is for you. Registration includes morning snacks, lunch and materials.
Registration starts at 8:15 am and the conference kicks off at 9:00 am. Want to know more about what is impacting your trees? Amy Stone of Ohio State University Extension will start the day with a wellness checkup for trees. Following this talk you can chose from talks on CAUV and Ohio Forest Tax Law and Managing Hazardous Algal Blooms in Your Pond along with some introductory talks on management strategies for woodland owners, and wildlife management, both from the conflict and attracting side. Interested in pollinators? Denise Ellsworth of Ohio State University Extension will talk about crreating pollinator habitat for both small and large landowners. There will also be an update on gypsy moth in Ohio and what to do after you have removed all those invasive plants from your woodland. Something for everyone.
