Maple Grading Workshop

Join Ohio State Extension's Jake Nicholson for a hands-on day of learning how to "make the grade" with maple syrup. Exploring the regulations around maple syrup grading, what makes it “Grade A,” and how it impacts you as a producer. We will have sessions on flavor, color, clarity, and density, including explorations of the different tools available for measuring these elements. This will be an in-depth workshop that will be a great introduction to syrup grading for new producers and a detailed refresher course for those with established operations.
