From Field to Forest: Restoring a Meadow

eastern bluebird on fence post in meadow

Open habitats vegetated by grasses and flowering plants are important features of the natural landscape. Come and learn about these habitats and the plants and wildlife that depend upon them. We will use a wet meadow at the OSU Mansfield Campus to explore the restoration process from the forest edge to the middle of the meadow.

This class will be outdoors, beginning at the Maple Pavilion and ending in the field.
