Invasive Species

Bush honeysuckle, garlic mustard, tree-of-heaven, autumn olive, emeral ash borer, Asian long-horned beetle, and feral swine are several of the invasive, non-native species woodland owners need to be on the look-out for. Ohio Woodland Stewards strives to be on the forefront of information delivery pertaining to invasive plants and animals.

We offer two classes on invasive speices,  Invasive Plants and Invasive Insects. In addition, many of our woodland and wildlife classes also incorporate the identification and management of invasive species.
