August 28, 2009
Registration closed
Join educators from Ohio State University Extension and Purdue Cooperative Extension Service to learn all about Ohio's grassland history and grassland management. From mowing to burning to disking, this class will cover it all! We will discuss establishment of grasslands and the best species mixes to use. You will also learn how to manage your grasslands for bobwhite quail and pheasants, and how to set up and monitor your own bluebird trail!

This class will begin indoors in the morining and end outdoors with a walk through the Gwynne Conservation Area where we will identify prairie grasses and wildflowers.
